The lenses are custom made from the prescription values submitted with the order and are intended for vision correction only. They are not a substitute for professional eye-care advice.
Prescription Information Required
Use a current distance eyeglass prescription when ordering unless your eye-care professional recommends otherwise.
SPH (Sphere): corrects nearsightedness or farsightedness.
CYL (Cylinder): indicates astigmatism correction.
AXIS: specifies the orientation of astigmatism correction and is required when CYL is present.
PD (Pupillary Distance): helps position the optical center of the lenses correctly.
Enter every value exactly as shown on your prescription, including plus (+) and minus (–) signs. If your prescription does not include PD, ask your optometrist before ordering.
Do not use a contact lens prescription in place of an eyeglass prescription. If you only have a contact lens prescription, ask your eye-care professional for the appropriate eyeglass prescription.
