SPH: sphere power for nearsightedness or farsightedness
CYL: cylinder power for astigmatism
AXIS: astigmatism orientation, normally entered when CYL is present
PD: pupillary distance, entered as one total value or separate right and left values
Check plus and minus signs carefully. If your prescription does not include PD, ask your optometrist before ordering. Reading-only or progressive prescriptions should not be substituted for a distance prescription without professional guidance.
Do not enter a contact lens prescription in place of an eyeglass prescription. If you only have a contact lens prescription, ask your eye-care professional for the appropriate eyeglass prescription before ordering.
How to Install the Insert
Place the ROG XREAL R1 on a stable surface with the nose-pad area facing up.
Remove the small rubber dust cover near the prescription-insert mounting point.
Align the insert tabs with the matching openings and press gently until the insert is secure.
Reinstall the dust cover and check that the insert is stable before use.
Do not force the insert if the tabs are not aligned. Stop and recheck the mounting direction to avoid scratching the glasses or damaging the insert.
