Custom Pimax Crystal / Crystal Light Prescription Lenses

ANNKUTVR magnetic prescription lens inserts are designed for both the original Pimax Crystal and Pimax Crystal Light. Each pair is made according to the prescription values you provide, giving you dedicated vision correction inside the headset without having to wear regular glasses.

The removable magnetic design also makes the lenses easier to install, remove, clean, or swap when sharing the headset. The inserts sit between your eyes and the headset optics, helping reduce direct contact between eyeglass frames and the original Pimax lenses.

Pimax Crystal / Crystal Light Compatibility

• Pimax Crystal: Compatible.
• Pimax Crystal Light: Compatible.
• Pimax Crystal Super: Not compatible. Crystal Super models use a different lens insert design.

Important: Pimax Crystal Series Focal Distance

Pimax states that the Crystal series uses an optical focal distance of approximately 1 meter. This is shorter than the focal distance used by many other VR headsets, so your everyday distance prescription may not always produce exactly the same result inside the headset.

If you wear progressive, bifocal, or reading glasses, we recommend asking your optician whether a prescription suitable for approximately 1 meter is more appropriate before ordering.

If you use single-vision correction, you can generally enter your current prescription values. However, if you already know that your vision correction changes noticeably at intermediate distances, consult your optician before placing the order.

How to Enter Your Prescription

Enter the prescription values for your right eye (O.D.) and left eye (O.S.) exactly as they appear on your eyeglass prescription.

• SPH: Sphere value for myopia or hyperopia.
• CYL: Cylinder value for astigmatism. Select 0.00 if your prescription does not include CYL.
• AXIS: Required when a CYL value is present.
• PD: Pupillary distance. If your prescription lists separate right and left PD values, enter the two monocular PD measurements where available.

Magnetic Design and Lens Coatings

• Magnetic Quick-Release Design: The removable magnetic system allows the prescription lenses to be attached or removed without repeatedly handling the headset’s original optics.
• Lens Protection: The inserts provide an additional layer between your eyes and the headset optics and help reduce direct contact from regular eyeglasses during use.
• High-Index Materials: Higher-index lens materials may be used for stronger prescriptions when appropriate to help reduce lens thickness.
• Included Coatings: Anti-glare, scratch-resistant, and easy-clean coatings are included with each pair.

Fit and Facial Foam

Clearance between the prescription inserts, your eyelashes, and your face can vary depending on prescription strength, facial shape, and headset fit.

If you need additional eye relief, the Pimax 15mm facial foam is one optional way to create more space between your eyes and the lens inserts. It is not required for every user.
