The magnetic design allows the prescription lenses to be installed and removed without tools. Watch the installation tutorial below before using the lenses for the first time.
How to Enter Your Prescription
Enter the SPH value for each eye exactly as shown on your glasses prescription. Minus (-) SPH values indicate nearsightedness, while plus (+) SPH values indicate farsightedness.
If your prescription includes astigmatism correction, enter both the CYL and AXIS values exactly as written. Do not change the plus or minus signs.
Enter your PD (pupillary distance) when available. If your prescription lists separate right and left PD measurements, select the separate PD option and enter each value individually.

Why Use Prescription Lens Inserts Instead of Glasses?
Wearing regular glasses inside Meta Quest 3 can add pressure around the face and places another eyeglass frame close to the headset optics.
Prescription inserts provide your vision correction directly inside the headset, allowing you to use Meta Quest 3 without wearing your everyday glasses.
The inserts also create a physical layer over the headset lenses, helping reduce the chance of eyeglass frames contacting the original Quest 3 lenses during normal use.
Magnetic and Tool-Free Design
The removable magnetic system makes the lenses easy to install and remove without tools. This is especially useful for cleaning or when the headset is shared with another person.
Make sure the left and right inserts are installed in the correct position and securely attached before putting on the headset.

Care Instructions
Use a clean optical microfiber cloth to remove fingerprints or dust from the lens surface. Avoid paper towels, rough fabrics or abrasive materials that may damage the lenses or coatings.
The magnetic inserts can be removed from the headset when additional cleaning is required and reinstalled afterward.
