These custom prescription lens inserts are designed specifically for the Pimax Crystal Super Ultrawide 140° FOV optical version.
Pimax lists the Crystal Super Ultrawide with a 3840 × 3840 resolution per eye, 50 PPD pixel density and a 140° horizontal field of view. Because the Ultrawide optical engine differs from the other Crystal Super optical versions, ANNKUTVR uses a dedicated insert frame for this model.
If you normally need vision correction, the inserts allow your prescription to be positioned directly inside the headset instead of relying on your everyday glasses while using VR.

Clip-On Base with Magnetic Quick-Release Lenses
The insert uses a two-part installation system. The base clips into position around the headset optics, while the prescription lens section attaches magnetically to the base.

Prescription, Plano and Progressive Lens Options
Three lens types are available for the Pimax Crystal Super Ultrawide:
Prescription Lenses: Custom made according to the SPH, CYL, AXIS and other prescription information you provide.
Non-Prescription / Plano Lenses: Designed for users who do not require vision correction but want an additional lens layer inside the headset.
Progressive Lenses: Available for prescriptions that require progressive correction.
Important Prescription Note for Pimax Crystal Super
Pimax states that the Crystal series uses an optical focal distance of approximately 1 meter, which is shorter than the focal distance used by many other VR headsets.
For many single-vision users, an existing prescription may work normally. However, the correct prescription for a roughly 1-meter viewing distance may not always be identical to an everyday distance prescription.
If you use progressive lenses, reading glasses, or different prescriptions for near and distance vision, we recommend confirming the appropriate prescription for an approximately 1-meter focal distance with your optometrist or optician before ordering.

Why the Ultrawide Version Requires Its Own Lens Insert
The Crystal Super is available with multiple optical engine configurations. Pimax specifies the Ultrawide version as a 50 PPD optical engine with a 3840 × 3840 resolution per eye and a 140° horizontal field of view.
The physical fit required for the Ultrawide configuration differs from the insert frame used with the other Crystal Super optical versions. For that reason, this product uses a dedicated frame and should only be ordered for the Pimax Crystal Super Ultrawide 140° FOV.
